Position Title: Manufacturing Design Engineer
Job Location: Peoria, Illinois
Remote/Onsite: Onsite

Hiring Timeline: 2,3 weeks
Job Description & Skill Requirement:
Essential Responsibilities
Support Product Design for Automated work cell components and vision systems. Including Fixturing, End of Arm Tools, and Brackets.
Read and interpret mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings.
Collaborate with the automation team in the qualification process of automated systems.
Records procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or method.
Maintains software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications.
Assists engineers in developing and designing hardware and software required for all automation solutions per specifications.
Trains other technicians and operators on products, processes and equipment.
Proper use of power tools and measuring equipment
Qualifications/Requirements
experience in an engineering, quality, or Production and Manufacturing Operations in a Automotive or related industry.
Proficeint in 3D modeling such as Solid Works.
Previous design, qualification, and build experience.
Travel Requirements up to 30%
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills
Capability to work in teams
Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
CAD, CREO, or Pro-E proficiency.
