Aluminum Fabrication Production Associate

Wickham Industries is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our Aluminum Fabrication Department. This position is responsible for fabricating aluminum storefront, entrance, framing, and glazing systems used in commercial construction projects.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position working in a fast-paced production environment. Experience in aluminum fabrication, construction, or manufacturing is preferred, but trainable candidates with strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate aluminum storefront, framing, and entrance systems
• Read and interpret shop drawings, cut sheets, and production paperwork
• Measure, cut, machine, and assemble aluminum components
• Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely
• Prepare materials for shipment and installation
• Maintain quality standards and accurate fabrication dimensions
• Assist with inventory organization and material handling
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies
• Work with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and deadlines

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, fabrication, or construction experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to read tape measures and perform accurate measurements
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 75 lbs with assistance when needed
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout shift
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Experience

• Aluminum storefront or glazing industry experience
• CNC or fabrication machinery experience
• Forklift operation experience
• Commercial construction or shop fabrication background
