Machine Operator - 2nd Shift Location: St. Peter, MN Compensation: $18.00-$20.00 per hour - paid weekly Schedule: 2nd Shift | 4:00 PM-4:30 AM Job Type: Temp | Full-time About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Machine Operator workers for a food production company in St. Peter, MN. What You'll Do as a Machine Operator: Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust packaging machines to meet quality and efficiency standards Perform start-ups, changeovers, shutdowns, and film roll changes Inspect equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make mechanical adjustments as needed Handle raw materials, including weight adjustments and material movement Complete production documentation accurately and record key data Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organization of the work area Communicate equipment issues and improvement ideas with maintenance and supervision What You Need to Bring to the Machine Operator Role: High school diploma or GED 2+ years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing or food production environment Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience with production equipment Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (3 days one week, 4 days the next) with occasional overtime Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, push, and pull for 12-hour shifts Forklift certification or ability to become certified within the first 14 days Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, including technical instructions Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and opportunities for long-term stability.
