Full Time Position
Shift-Third 11pm- 7pmSunday Night- Friday Morning
Determine proper press settings for Ejection, Fill, and Compaction from a part blueprint.
Be able to qualify and prepare PM tooling for installation, including cleanliness, condition, de-mag, fit and verifying there are no collisions.
Identify all required adaptations such as blocks, bolts, clamps, tubes, etc. required for a successful tool stack up.
Install all required adaptations and tooling, resulting in correct ejection, fill and mold positions.
Review the shoe condition and identify opportunities to reduce tailings in each setup and be able to replace shoe bottoms.
Use inspection equipment, specifically a micrometer, calipers, and indicators as well as any other gaging required to qualify a setup.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance as required for each set up.
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
Run all equipment as necessary and perform any other duties assigned by management.
Ensure smooth operations and provide support when the primary supervisor is unavailable
Familiarity using PLEX ERP
