CNC Programmer (3, 4 & 5-Axis) - Direct Hire

The Adecco Permanent Recruitment team is partnering with a precision manufacturinganization seeking a CNC Programmer to support high-speed machining operations. This role focuses on creatingplex multi-axis programs and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing performance and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis machines using CAD/CAM software (NX, Vericut or similar)
Program high-speed machining of hardened steels and electrodes for precision mold applications
Support programming for horizontal mills used in soft machining (steel and plastics)
Create and maintain machining instructions, setup sheets, and technical documentation
Modify drawings and support engineering changes as needed
Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
Assist in developing and maintaining programming and quality standards
Work closely with shop floor teams to support production and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Experience with NX or similar CAD/CAM programming software
Strong background in multi-axis (3D) CNC programming
Prior machine shop experience required
Strong blue reading and understanding of GD&T
Knowledge of machining principles, speeds & feeds, and dimensional tolerancing
Experience working with tight tolerances and metric measurements
Strong problem-solving and technical judgment skills
Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with ISO 9000 / AS9100 quality standards preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
