Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a dedicated 1st shift CNC operator to join their team. As a 1st shift CNC operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: 1st shift CNC operator
Location: Landing, NJ
Pay Range: $20-$25 (entry level), $30-$35 (experienced)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
What's the Job?
Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes) to manufacture parts to print specifications
Load raw materials and monitor machine operations during production runs
Perform routine machine adjustments and tool changes
Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers
What's Needed?
Previous experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with precision measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed

En que consiste el trabajo?
Configurar y operar maquinas CNC (fresadoras y/o tornos) para fabricar piezas segun especificaciones
Cargar materiales y monitorear las operaciones de las maquinas durante las producciones
Realizar ajustes rutinarios en las maquinas y cambios de herramientas
Inspeccionar las piezas terminadas usando herramientas de medicion como calibradores, micrometros y gauges
Interpretar planos, instrucciones de trabajo y viajeros de trabajo
Que se necesita?
Experiencia previa operando maquinas CNC en un entorno de manufactura
Capacidad para leer y entender planos y dibujos tecnicos
Familiaridad con herramientas de medicion de precision
Gran atencion al detalle y compromiso con la calidad
Capacidad para estar de pie por periodos prolongados y levantar materiales segun sea necesario
