Harvest Maintenance Lead

Maintenance Lead will direct the daily activities of and work directly with Maintenance Technicians within an assigned area. They will be responsible for being an example to other Team Members using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions. They are additionally responsible for maintaining plant equipment to supply maximum available uptime for production while ensuring the safest work environment possible. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:HACCP/Food Safety/GMPUnderstand and adhere to all HACCP, food safety, and GMP guidelines and policiesMaintain a clean and organized work environmentSafetyUnderstand and enforce all Creekstone Farms safety requirements.Successfully complete and maintain required safety trainingAdministrative SkillsMonitor and participate in operations in assigned areas During the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Lead fills in for the Supervisor Give guidance, support and professional development to technicians Assist in scheduling of work according to priorities and direction from the Superintendent and SupervisorEnsure that all techs properly use the warehouse processesWork with Maintenance Supervisor, to develop needed training for all techsAssist in managing daily shift downtime reconciliation/action itemsEnsure every position in area of responsibility is properly staffed at the start of each shiftManage team members break times to ensure rotations are followed and time is not exceededFollow the plants continuous improvement process and planAll other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 1 year of industrial maintenance experienceExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to present concepts, concerns, and questions in a thoughtful, positive, and professional mannerAbility to foster an atmosphere of teamwork and respectAble to work productively and independentlyClear communication skills verbally and in written formAbility to coach and develop others into becoming a better employeeLeadership skills such as conflict resolution, encouraging others and inspiring excellenceAbility to take direction humbly and collaborate in order to define and pursue team goalsA positive outlook and attitude in taking initiative and problem solving, unprompted INTERNAL APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS*Have completed at least 90 days in current position.Creekstone Farms Premium Beef LLC is an EEO employer
