Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing EngineerThe Manufacturing Engineer supports, monitors, and continuously improves production processes to drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. This role partners closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to document currentstate processes, implement Lean and Six Sigma improvements, support new product introduction (NPI), and help the site achieve key performance metrics.Key Responsibilities:

Document and analyze production processes, including work instructions, equipment capability and capacity, and value stream mapsMonitor manufacturing KPIs and identify, implement, and sustain continuous improvement opportunitiesApply Lean and Six Sigma tools to optimize processes, product design, and manufacturing systems with measurable business impactSupport ERP implementation and ongoing system optimizationPartner with Engineering, Quality, and Production on process improvements, NPI development, and quality corrective actionsDevelop and support KPIs to effectively manage process and product outcomesContribute to crossfunctional projects, balancing technical requirements, schedule, and costSupport tooling and equipment improvement initiatives and lead troubleshooting of production issuesPrepare technical documentation, reports, procedures, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma toolsProficiency in 2D/3D CAD (NX preferred)Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specificationsExperience with measurement and inspection methods (CMM, laser/whitelight scanning, gages)Working knowledge of project and program management toolsFamiliarity with FAA PMA and RSDER requirements preferredClear, effective written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative mindset with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
