Assembly Technician

Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring Assembly Technicians for a company in northern Tallahassee, FL. In this position candidates will be working with small electronic components assembling various pieces using hand powered tools. The ideal candidate for this role is looking for long-term employment, able to be reliable, and an excellent team member. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assemble electronic components accurately and in a repetitive, timely manner.
• Use basic hand tools and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Keep a tidy and organized workstation.
• Follow safety procedures in place including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Other duties as required.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a production environment is preferred.
• Be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic mathematical and counting ability.
• Excellent attendance history and positive attitude.
• Understanding of mechanical assembly requirements, material handling and ESD requirements is preferred.
• The ability to demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

1st shift | $16 per hour starting wage with raises available in the first 6 months.
