Our client is looking for a CNC Machinist. They are a leading manufacturer of highly engineered sensing and sealing components, with nearly 3,000 employees worldwide and a presence in several major industries. In this role, you will be responsible for machining and fabricating parts or tooling for production equipment, using either drawings or sketches. You will set up and operate CNC milling machines, configure dimensions, and handle repairs or rebuilds of parts and tooling as needed. Additionally, you'll support engineering testing, create purchase requisitions, and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T callouts.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Machine or fabricate parts and tooling for production equipment, with or without drawings
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines
- Configure dimensions, pin parameters, holes, offsets, etc.
- Repair or rebuild parts or tooling from production equipment
- Adapt blueprints or sketches for CAD technicians
- Provide machining support for testing and new product development
- Read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T callouts
- Machine materials such as carbon, aluminum, stainless steels, and nickel-based alloys
- Design tooling and fixtures for efficient production
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- CNC machining experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience working with materials like aluminum, stainless steel, and nickel alloys
- Strong problem-solving and repair skills
- Ability to adapt blueprints for CAD updates
- Capable of designing tooling and fixtures
