Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our day shift team. This role is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery to produce precision metal and nonmetalponents.
You will work closely with supervisors, engineers, and production staff to ensure high-quality output, efficiency, and adnce to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machining centers (Mazak, Haas preferred)
Read and interpret blues, drawings, and specifications
Ensure all parts meet quality and dimensional standards
Adjust speeds, feeds, and machining parameters for optimal performance
Select and install tooling, fixtures, and materials
Optimize programs and machining processes for efficiency
Maintain clean,anized, and safe workspaces
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Accurately track production time, setup time, and inspection data
Collaborate with team members to solve machining issues
Meet or exceed production and efficiency targets
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or GED
Experience operating CNC machinery
Ability to read blues and technical documents
Strong math skills (geometry, trigonometry, measurements)
Preferred:
Experience with Mazak and/or Haas CNC machines
CNC programming and CAM experience
Technical certification or associate degree in machining
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and use hands frequently
Lift up to 60 lbs regularly
Stooping, kneeling, and reaching required
Strong visual acuity (close vision, depth perception)

Pay
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
