This role leads a team of production employees, supports continuous improvement, and ensures production targets are met.

Ensure there is enough material to run the entire shift, and that all materials are recorded.

Inventory Management
Ensure that the inventory stays accurate
Keep FG inventory up to date.
Erase any FG that might not exist
Return Material that is not needed to the DC
Fix any inventory discrepancies
Lead Monthly Inventory
Trace back specific materials used. Ex. Find all the MOs were a case or pouch lot code was used.
Ensure that materials are being consumed accurately using PowerBi
Ensure that DOs are produced accurately, resolve any issues
Support employee training and assist new employees as needed.
Teach new room leads material consumption / reporting FG etc using Factory Track
Teach new drivers on how to use Factory Track
Ensures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.
Education and Qualifications
High School Diploma or Relevant
Manufacturing and process, bakery, or food industry. More than one area is preferred
Proven experience as Machine Operator Lead.
Working Knowledge of machines.
Attention to detail.
Leadership skills.
Analytical Skills.
Teamwork Skills
Oral Communication: speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; demonstrates presentation skills.
Problem Solving: identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
Highly motivated and self-driven professional: skillful, productive, efficient, creative
Minimum Experience:
3 years of production leading experience
3 years of machine operation experience
Preferred:
Technical career, electromechanical, mechatronics
5 years of Machines Operation experience
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods standing, walking, and sitting.
Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping, climbing stairs, twisting, and bending frequently
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
