BONHAM, TX Order: 34311 Order Type : Temp INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC - PUNCH / LASER Starting Pay: $23.00 / HR RPM Staffing is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to support Punch and Laser operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in safety, precision, and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate Punch and/or Laser equipment - Follow all safety policies and maintain safe work practices - Perform preventative maintenance using provided checklists - Fabricate quality parts meeting print and specification requirements - Interpret blueprints, travelers, and job documentation - Configure and set up jobs accurately and efficiently - Identify proper tooling and maintain an organized tool crib - Understand punch tooling, sharpening, and maintenance - Read and apply metal conditions, thicknesses, and grain directions - Visually inspect parts for burrs, burns, slag, and defects - Make machine adjustments based on cut conditions - Complete and document weekly machine maintenance sheets - Ensure sampling processes and quality checks are completed - Identify and report defective equipment, tooling, or documentation issues - Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments - Support audits and required documentation - Perform additional tasks as directed by supervision Apply Today!
