THE WORK
- Maintain and update schedules for material requirements and availability for manufacturing.
- Compile and manage records detailing material quantities, costs, and types received, shipped, in stock, or in production.
- Expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
- Identify potential and actual shortages, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
- Leverage your knowledge in production, procurement, and engineering departments to alert appropriate authorities to potential issues and recommend remedial actions.
- Establish sequences and lead times for each operation to meet shipping dates.

Experience with product flow on the manufacturing floor
Ability to work in a team environment
MRP Experience
Self Starter and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Obtaining a clearance requires US Citizenship. Experience/understanding of hardware moving from development to production
Understanding of MRP systems/concepts
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong Excel/Microsoft Office Skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
