Job Story

The Industry & Defense Administration office is looking for a Procurement Analyst student assistant.

Job Summary

A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.

Job Duties

Support federal and industry contract awards by tracking and follow-up.

Assist with organizing, compiling, and maintaining procurement resources and materials.

Generate procurement visibility and reports.

Assist with gathering information, tracking communications, and status updates.

Monitor and managing the Procurement Shared.

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft suite (including SharePoint)

Experience with advanced analytical software, a plus (ex., Power BI)

Preferred Qualifications

Senior or Graduate Student prefered.

Physical Requirements

Ability to remain in a stationary position.

Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.

Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
