Manufacturing Supervisor Pressing

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversees coordinating press operators and technicians to keep production flowing smoothly.

• Oversees setting up and adjusting record presses , including water/steam pressure and cycle timing.

• Oversees inspecting records for defects such as bubbles, dents, or audio issues, and determining root causes.

• Managing materials like vinyl compounds and dies, and ordering replacements when needed.

• Ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met across shifts.

• Training and supporting production staff , often across multiple machines or lines.

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude (presses are steam-driven, high-pressure machines)

• Experience in manufacturing or production leadership

• Understanding of quality control and defect analysis

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process issues

• Clear communication and team-coordination skills

• Familiarity with vinyl materials and audio testing is a plus
