Key responsibilities include:
Oversees coordinating press operators and technicians to keep production flowing smoothly.
Oversees setting up and adjusting record presses , including water/steam pressure and cycle timing.
Oversees inspecting records for defects such as bubbles, dents, or audio issues, and determining root causes.
Managing materials like vinyl compounds and dies, and ordering replacements when needed.
Ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met across shifts.
Training and supporting production staff , often across multiple machines or lines.

Strong mechanical aptitude (presses are steam-driven, high-pressure machines)
Experience in manufacturing or production leadership
Understanding of quality control and defect analysis
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process issues
Clear communication and team-coordination skills
Familiarity with vinyl materials and audio testing is a plus
