Harcros Chemicals is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Production Worker to support daily warehouse, production, and material handling operations. This role is responsible for loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts and other equipment, supporting chemical production activities, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to safety while supporting efficient plant and warehouse operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Load, unload, move, and store materials using forklifts and other mechanical equipment.

  • Support warehouse, shipping, receiving, and tank truck loading operations.

  • Assist with chemical production activities including bleach, soda ash, and hypochlorite processing.

  • Read and follow work orders, safety procedures, and operating instructions.

  • Perform daily forklift inspections, basic equipment maintenance, and housekeeping tasks.

  • Maintain compliance with company safety procedures, DOT requirements, and environmental regulations.

  • Support hazardous waste handling, spill response, and related documentation activities as required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • One to three months of related warehouse, production, or industrial experience preferred.

  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Basic math and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
