To support and assist the Warehouse and Technician teams in the workshop. This position is responsible for organizing the shop and yard daily activities to achieve a safe, clean, organized, productive and efficient workflow.

7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Reman Labourer/Utility Worker
Handling and transporting materials such as moving components to and from designated locations with a forklift, pallet jack, hand carts or other equipment
Janitorial work, including cleaning up trash and debris, emptying trash and scrap iron containers and draining oil catchments in the shop
Assisting technicians with packaging and preparing Reman components for shipment
Assisting warehouse staff with unloading, packaging, and core management activities
Placing cores into containers and staging for shipment to distribution centers, warehouses, 3rd party repair facilities, etc.
Use power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts) when needed
Follow instructions from Workshop Supervisor to perform manual labor tasks (e.g. stacking up goods)
Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
Performs various physical duties as assigned.
Maintain all safety standards.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
Good hand-eye coordination
Commitment to safety rules
Ability to work with a team
Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with all functions for the good of Epiroc
Openness to change and adaptable
Well organized and focused on continuous improvement - there is always a better way!
A well-developed sense of ethics and the courage to stand up for ethical principles
Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Knowledge:
Previous warehousing experience
Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines

Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment
Previous experience, especially in the remanufacturing industry, preferred
Formal Education Requirement:
High school/GED diploma
Forklift certification is an asset
