Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for checking work orders and blueprints to determine the parts to be made and their daily production quantity. You will set up machines each day and operate various equipment such as the Brake Press, Fiber Laser, Die Stamp, spot welder, and others to form and bend metal sheets. Additionally, you will inspect each piece of metal to ensure it meets specifications and is free of defects. This role requires daily lifting of items weighing over 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Check work orders and blueprints for daily production requirements.

• Set up and operate machines including Brake Press, Fiber Laser, Die Stamp, and others.

• Inspect metal pieces visually and physically to ensure specifications are met.

• Lift and handle metal sheets weighing over 40 pounds.

• Collaborate with a team of 2-3 employees in machine operation.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

• Experience in machine operation using micrometers and calipers.

• At least 1 year of experience in machine operation.

• Ability to operate equipment such as Laser, press brake, and welding tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in welding or fabricating.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
