  • Troubleshooting and resolving operational/performance issues with propeller products
  • Provide technical support to internal manufacturing operations and suppliers as needed
  • Coordinate within Engineering Production Support, Supply Chain, and other technical groups to develop technical resources for team usage
  • Assist team to resolve engineering problems impeding production and to assist in the incorporation of new design concepts and changes.
  • Perform failure analysis to support engineering and production activities throughout the organization.
  • Support new design activities for propeller certification programs.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 to model cutting paths and program for 2 to 5 axis machines including mills, lathes and routers.
  • Collaborates with Engineering regarding production capabilities, tooling and build-plan methodology and gives input/feedback on associated design criteria; analyzes engineering design to determine manufacturability of components and assemblies
  • Determines manufacturing processes, tooling methodology, discrete manufacturing operations and associated time standards to be used to produce new parts/assemblies from detail component fabrication thru job-level installation; authors and maintains process plans for shop floor methods/work instructions
  • Supports integration of new components and assemblies into manufacturing. Develops learning curve and actual hour projections for new program production incorporation; analyzes actual performance and makes necessary process improvement recommendations

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Another related field, Or In lieu of degree requirement, must possess 5+ years of prior relevant experience as a CNC Machine Programmer

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires strong working knowledge of NC Programming, Loft, Engineering design, and Tool Design
  • Experience with CATIA v5 or higher
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborates and easily gets along in team-based environments
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Computer Proficiency (MS Office, etc.)
