PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Supervises order processing, billing, and payment of Agronomy and Warehouse products in accordance with corporate guidelines for proper accounting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHP

Supervises, leads, and develops, Facility Planning Processing Specialist, Agronomy & Warehouse Processor II, and Energy & Warehouse Processor II.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Supervises training and process changes in the ERP system for assigned products.

Supervises order placement, customer and supplier contract administration, processing of invoices and disputes for the Energy and Agronomy Equipment, Energy, and Engineering & Construction divisions and their customers/suppliers.

Supervises the reconciliation and communication of customer and vendor prepay programs and the reconciliation of outside inventory points for all assigned products.

Assures maintenance of correct price condition tables, discounts, and payment terms.

Maintains operating knowledge of the SAP and OMNI ordering, billing, and reconciliation systems used and assists with development, testing, and implementation of changes as needed. Maintains current knowledge and monitors pricing policies and programs and control procedures, including assisting divisions in setting up programs as they relate to ordering and billing control.

Designs queries and reports using Business Objects and database concepts to assist prodcut division personnel in providing customer service and managing operations. Also responsible for developing skill levels and expanding use of the software by subordinates.

Collaborates with appropriate personnel within Controllers, Energy, Agronomy, Engineereing & Construction, IT, Logistics, suppliers, customers, and third party service providers to develop and implement changes to processes affecting order entry, customer invoicing, supplier payments, and customer and supplier contracting programs.

Communicates with product division personnel, customers, and suppliers on billing and payment issues and to resolve problems.

Serves as primary backup for the Agronomy& Warehouse Processing & Control Manager.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Educates customers on how to utilize order processing services available.

Follows GROWMARKs Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration or equivalent thereof, and 2 years or more of related experience to demonstrate the ability to provide crop nutrients processing and control leadership to the GROWMARK System.

Understanding and experience with accounting-related areas including Accounts Payable processing, ordering, billing and reconciliation systems, accounting information systems, inventory control, internal controls, credit administration policies, procedures, and compliance.

Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills, including staffing, coaching, performance evaluation, team building, and the ability to achieve results through others.

Proven professional communication, interpersonal, persuasion, and customer service skills.

Proven computer skills in use and supervision of accounting software, software query tools, and relational database software, along with the ability to enhance business processes.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must have a valid drivers license and passport with the ability to work extended hours and travel independently overnight.

Ability to work hours beyond what is considered normal.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARKs policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
