Job Description : Production Scheduler
Reports To : Director of Manufacturing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain factory work schedules for all production lines, and prototype work area
- Daily maintenance of factory production schedule within ERP that ensures order delivery dates, balanced production capacity, and includes job start/end dates, resources required and line assignments
- Maintain daily awareness and take action on changes to job status related to issues around materials, capacity constraints or other disruptions
- Process all required paperwork and shop folders needed for jobs scheduled to run in the factory with focus on making sure that production lines have what they need, before they need it
- Process requests to the warehouse for additional raw material as required
- Liaison between Sales and Production to ensure correct and timely exchanges of job order information as required
- Process owner for Sample Room and Tool Room check in/out. (process and inventory)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Any other activities and duties as assigned by the Director of Manufacturing.
- Experience in manufacturing environment with at least 1 year of scheduling experience.
- Must be able to work in a fast-pace non-aerospace environment.
- Strong knowledge with MS- Office, especially within Excel and Project.
- Previous ERP system experience. Previous work within JobBoss / SyteLine is a plus.
- Energetic, hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively across organization
- Ability to work independently, stay focused, and problem solve.
- Must be detail orientated. Accuracy is crucial.
- Must be able to work standing and/or sitting 10 hrs. per day as required.
- Must be able to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. as required.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
