Summary of Position:
The purpose of this position is to ensure timely and accurate movement of product through manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities of Position:

• Utilize forklift to move pallets of raw materials or finished products throughout warehouse/manufacturing facility;

• Ensure proper storage and handling of all products;

• Follow safety guidelines when operating forklift and maintaining work area;

• Maintain neatness and order in work area;

• Comply with quality standards and procedures;

• Perform inventory control duties as required;

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications of Position:

• Previous experience using stand-up lifting equipment (forklifts) preferred but not mandatory;

• Successful completion of forklift training program;

• Ability to lift heavy loads (50 lbs +);

• Able to operate within tight spaces;

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English language;

• Good attendance record;

• Excellent time management skills;

• High level of initiative and ability to take on new challenges;

• Strong problem solving skills;

• Ability to work independently and as part of team.
