Are you an experienced CNC Programmer with a passion for precision and craftsmanship? Southern Stone Surfaces is looking for a CAD/CAM Specialist to join our team in Nashville. Key Responsibilities

• Create and optimize CNC programs for stone countertop fabrication using AlphaCAM
• Draft and manage digital templates and layouts in Slabsmith
• Interpret and refine CAD drawings for production use
• Collaborate with templators to verify field measurements and ensure design accuracy
• Communicate effectively with the production team to troubleshoot issues and maintain workflow
• Maintain organized records of job files, revisions, and production notes
• Ensure all programming aligns with material specifications and project timelines

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in AlphaCAM and Slabsmith (or similar CAD/CAM software)
• Strong understanding of CNC machinery and stone fabrication processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience in countertop or stone fabrication is a plus

Work Environment

• Full-time, on-site position at our Nashville facility
