Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision machinery used to produce aerospace components, ensuring all products meet strict industry and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC and/or manual machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.) to manufacture aerospace parts

• Follow technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Set up machines, select appropriate tools, and monitor production for consistency

• Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools

• Maintain documentation and production records in accordance with aerospace quality control standards (e.g., AS9100)

• Identify and report machine malfunctions or quality concerns immediately

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and aerospace industry regulations

• Work closely with quality assurance and engineering teams to meet project requirements and deadlines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred

• Minimum 1-2 years of machine operation experience, preferably in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing

• Familiarity with aerospace materials (aluminum, titanium, composites) and tight tolerances

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings

• Proficient in the use of hand and measuring tools

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Knowledge of AS9100 or other aerospace quality systems is a plus

Work Environment:

• Aerospace manufacturing facility

• Exposure to machinery noise, oils, and production materials

• Standing, lifting (up to 40 lbs), and repetitive tasks required
