Adecco Staffing is partnering with a leading manufacturingpany in Winchester, NH to hire an experienced CNC Maintenance Mechanic. This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional with a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC machinery and equipment.
Job Title: CNC Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Winchester, NH
Pay Rate: $28 - $35 depending on experience
Job Duties:
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, including mills, lathes, grinders, and multi-axis equipment
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues in CNC systems and execute effective repairs
Maintain and calibrate machine tool systems, spindles, ball screws, and other precisionponents
Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, servo motors, and drive systems
Follow maintenance schedules and accurately document work performed in the CMMS system
Support machine installations, upgrades, and realignments as needed
Work closely with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance
Ensure all maintenance work ads to safety protocols and operational standards
Keep maintenance areas clean,anized, and well-stocked with necessary tools and parts
Skills and Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience maintaining CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of CNC equipment operation and maintenance procedures
Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Ability to read technical diagrams, electrical schematics, and mechanical blues
Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, or Mazak control systems
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Capable of using diagnostic tools and precision measuring instruments
Preferred:
Technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field
Experience using CMMS software for maintenance tracking
Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures
Additional Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
Must be able to stand, kneel, and work around machinery for extended periods
Must have reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as needed
