The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. This role requires hands-on coordination with production teams on the shop floor to ensure real-time alignment between planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have experience in highly technical production environments, strong analytical skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing operational needs.

Your Mission

Develop and maintain detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules that align with company goals and customer requirements.

Collaborate with procurement, production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations and material availability.

Work directly with production supervisors and floor staff to ensure schedule adherence, resolve issues, and maintain workflow continuity.

Continuously monitor production progress and adjust schedules in response to delays, equipment issues, or changes in demand.

Work with supply chain managers to ensure timely procurement and availability of raw materials and components.

Conduct regular capacity assessments and calculate takt time to align production rates with customer demand.

Implement strategies to streamline production processes, reduce waste, and improve throughput using lean manufacturing principles.

Maintain accurate records of scheduling activities, report discrepancies, and provide regular updates to senior management.

Your Story

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), preferred

3-5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in highly technical or complex production environments is strongly preferred.

Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Project)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
