Position Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for deburring and hand finishing parts as required by specifications by using established procedures, machines and tooling ensuring standard documentation, quality, and production rates are met. Works under the direction of the Production Team Leader/Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Ability to use a wide variety of basic deburr and hand finish tools.

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and instructions.

Perform in-process visual inspections with and without the use of microscopes in accordance with the requirements stated in the Process Control Document or as otherwise stated on drawings or work instructions.

Perform rework assignments as necessary.

Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) requirements to ensure products are consistently produced and controlled according to the Quality System.

Follow established documentation for product manufacturing.

Maintain cleanliness of work areas, machines, tools, and equipment.

Must Have:

1-2 years' prior experience deburring components within the medical device industry.

Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, blue prints, work instructions, and use standard machine shop tools.

Strong manual dexterity

Ability to read, write and comprehend English

Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Strong attention to detail.

Must be able to accurately document details

Must be able to use microscope on a daily basis, throughout the shift

Good to have:

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), preferred

Salary Range: 18 to 21/hr
