Forklift Operator | $20/HR | 1st Shift Job Description We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team for the 1st shift, which operates from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Saturday. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and pallet jacks to move products as dictated by the manufacturing system, daily work schedule, or associate requests. You will ensure that direct materials are available for manufacturing and assembly of orders, manage inventory pulls, and handle loading and unloading materials onto trucks or other designated vehicles. You will also operate an overhead crane, practice proper rigging and lift techniques, and organize the Receiving Department area to assist stock pullers. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products as needed. Ensure direct materials are available for manufacturing and assembly. Manage inventory pulls and inventory management. Load and unload materials onto trucks or designated vehicles. Operate overhead cranes effectively. Practice proper rigging and lifting techniques. Organize the Receiving Department area and assist stock pullers. Essential Skills Forklift operating experience. Experience in reading and interpreting work orders. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Willingness to work overtime. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with inventory management and material handling. Proficiency in using RF scanners. Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks. Experience in shipping and receiving. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is clean and well-lit. Employees are regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Occasionally, employees may need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
