Production Manager(Compounding)

LIQUIDS production, filling (various containers), packing, and distribution experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for implementing departmental policies, objectives, goals, and organizing officials and staff members.
  • In charge of coordinating businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales or distribution of products.
  • Monitor businesses and agencies to make sure services are provided within budgetary limits.
  • Lead the manufacturing functions in the plant on all shifts to ensure on-time production and shipment of conforming products and materials. Including: planning the production flow, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, handling staffing issues, and monitoring production orders and schedules.
  • Prepare monthly budgets

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA in Business, Management , Engineering or related field.
  • 5 plus years of Plant Management experience in a manufacturing industry.
  • Receiving, fulfillment, distribution, put-away, pulling, packing, and shipping activities
  • Proven experience in reducing plant production costs, and in increasing safety standards.
  • Previous experience/best practices implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as; Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, etc. to drive improvement.
  • Coordination of production activities including job scheduling, staffing, etc and hold daily meeting to coordinate.

  • Conduct Quality audits on products moving through-out the plant.
  • Ensure labor tracking is timely and accurate.
  • Provide training for plant staff.
  • Responds to external customer needs with plant visits, assisting in customer surveys, and customer complaint resolution.
  • Proven experience in reducing plant production costs, and in increasing safety standards.
