Responsibilities

CNC Machine Operator:

• Setup and Operation: Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc. This includes loading and unloading raw materials and parts.
  
  
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical blueprints, engineering plans, and machining instructions to ensure parts are produced to exact specifications.
  
  
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure they meet requirements.
  
  
• Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning and lubrication, and monitor machine performance to ensure they operate correctly and safely.
  
  
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve problems with machine operation, including issues with tooling, programs, or material defects, making necessary adjustments to maintain production quality.
  
  
• Program Adjustments: Make minor edits or adjustments to CNC programs (G-code and M-code) at the machine control to optimize performance and part quality.
  
  
• Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by adhering to all safety protocols and company procedures.
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

standing for 12 hours at one time
