Production Operator

Join our team as a Production Operator in the state-of-the-art 700 building, where you will be involved in the complete manufacturing process of magnet wire products. Your role will encompass material handling, loading the production line, machine operating, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process. Responsibilities Handle raw materials and prepare them for production. Load the production line by feeding raw wire as required. Understand specification sheets to set machines when necessary. Operate machines and troubleshoot basic issues while monitoring quality via HMI touchscreen. Pull in-process enamel samples and document all updates by hand. Use overhead cranes and forklifts to move finished spools of wire and store products in the warehouse. Essential Skills Ability to work safely and without consistent supervision. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively. Ability to work 12-hour shifts. Strong tenure at previous employers. Ability to read, write, and understand written work orders in English. Additional Skill & Qualifications Open mind to being trained on a forklift (Previous experience not required). Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction. Good soft skills and willingness to be trained. Why Work Here? Work Environment The 700 building offers a temperature-controlled, clean environment resembling a clean room. It requires attention to detail, cleanliness, and self-motivation. Shifts operate on a 2/2/3 schedule, with options for both day and night shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Indiana. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
