Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Operator/Inspector for our 1st shift and 2nd shift The role involves inspecting products for quality, ensuring they meet specific job specifications. Detail and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate the inspection machine to review for defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from job specifications.
+ Identify and document product defects, reporting quality concerns to the department manager.
+ Perform system transactions to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system data integrity.
+ Package inspected finished goods according to job specifications and customer requirements.
+ Assist material handler in loading on the back of the inspection machine.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area, following safety and housekeeping guidelines.
+ Work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility.
+ Machine operation, manufacturing, and inspection machine skills.
+ Forklift operating skills.
+ Ability to use hand tools and complete changeovers, tape measure, slitter, printing, and quality inspection.
+ Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to work in a team setting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Prior experience in manufacturing or quality inspection preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
+ Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Capable of performing all work tasks in the department and the ability to train others.
+ Good math skills and ability to use a tape measure accurately.

The work environment is clean, well-lit, and organized, providing a comfortable space for all employees.
Although the building is not temperature-controlled, measures have been taken to ensure comfort during colder months.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
