This position is responsible for assembling furnaces and heat treating equipment by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Fabricate, assembles and weld pieces with welding techniques such as gas MIG & TIG.
  • Basic understanding of blueprint reading.
  • Able to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Able to layout stitch weld per drawing requirements.
  • Move materials using forklift and overhead crane according to standard operating procedures, safety regulations and safe practices (training will be provided).
  • Willing to work alone and or as a member of an assembly team in the manufacturing process.
  • Must be able to work overtime on an as-needed basis to maintain production deadlines.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
