HIRING GRINDROOM & EQUIPTMENT OPERATOR PAY: $22 HOUR - PAID WEEKLY HOURS: 1ST & 3RD SHIFT - 22,33 schedule - DOES NOT ROTATE Job Description We have an opening for a General Laborer on the 1st shift in our Grindroom/Furnace department. The working hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, following a 2-2-3-3 schedule with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next. This role involves retrieving glass from the yard using a front-end loader, monitoring and emptying bins and glass sifters, and ensuring furnaces operate correctly from the control room. Training will be provided for all tasks. Responsibilities Retrieve glass from the yard using a front-end loader. Monitor and empty bins and glass sifters. Ensure furnaces operate correctly in the control room. Perform general maintenance duties, including sweeping dust. Utilize hand and power tools as required. Essential Skills 1+ year experience in a heavy manufacturing environment. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Mechanical aptitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications Self-motivated. Hard worker. Adaptable and willing to learn. Strong attendance record. Forklift and front-end loader experience is a bonus. Why Work Here?
