Job Description
Job Description As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for compiling and maintaining records of quantity, type, and value of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked. You will count materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and post totals to inventory records either manually or using a computer. Additionally, you will verify computations against physical counts of stock, adjust errors in computation or count, or investigate and report discrepancies. Your role will involve compiling information on receipt or disbursement of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and computing inventory balance, price, and cost. You will prepare reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages, and assist with stocking and shipping/receiving functions. Responsibilities
- Compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked.
- Count materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and post totals to inventory records manually or using a computer.
- Verify computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors in computation or count.
- Investigate and report discrepancies in stock counts.
- Compile information on receipt or disbursement of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
- Compute inventory balance, price, and cost.
- Prepare reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
- Assist with stocking and shipping/receiving functions.
- Minimum 2 years of Warehouse or Logistics experience.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 1 year of experience with shipping and receiving.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Knowledge of inventory management procedures including stocking and reorder points, inventory control, and shipping/receiving procedures.
