Press Brake Operator**
**Job Description**
The Press Brake Operator will assist the fabrication team by setting up and operating Press Brake machines to produce sheet metal parts. This role requires using an Amada brand machine, reading blueprints and drawings to properly set up equipment, selecting the right tooling and machine settings, and ensuring parts meet quality standards through inspection. Documentation of the process is also required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate Press Brake machines to produce sheet metal parts.
+ Read blueprints and drawings to determine proper equipment setup.
+ Select appropriate tooling and machine settings for specific parts.
+ Bend, form, and fabricate metal parts to meet specified tolerances.
+ Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
+ Document processes and outcomes accurately.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1-3 years of experience in Press Brake operation.
+ Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
+ Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication.
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading and punch press operations.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 4 years of experience with Amada machines is ideal.
+ Basic understanding of CNC programming is a plus.
+ Familiarity with measuring instruments.
+ Experience in sheet metal manufacturing is advantageous.
**Work Environment**
The role is based in a brand-new manufacturing facility with positions available on both the first and second shifts. The first shift operates Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some additional early hours on Fridays. The second shift runs Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, with potential mid-morning hours on Fridays and occasionally on Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Amesbury, Massachusetts.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
