Hiring for Machine Operators in Greenville, SC pay up to $17/hr. Job Description We are seeking dedicated machine operators with basic mechanical skills to join our team. This role involves loading raw materials into machines to produce concrete stones, operating touch screens to change specifications for correct sizing, and ensuring quality control to comply with standards. The position requires heavy lifting and removing material efficiently. Responsibilities Load raw materials into machinery to produce concrete stones. Change specifications on touch screens to produce correctly sized blocks. Perform quality control checks to ensure compliance with standards. Clean out machines at the end of the day. Remove materials and operate machinery efficiently. Lift materials weighing up to 100 lbs. Essential Skills Basic mechanical skills Experience with machine operation Ability to perform heavy lifting Understanding of quality control processes Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in general labor, concrete production, or construction Familiarity with hand tools, tape measures, forklifts, and power tools Capability to perform outdoor work in varied weather conditions Ability to shovel and perform light maintenance tasks Why Work Here? Work is performed semi-outdoors with machines located in covered buildings with large open doors for ventilation. Employees are expected to work 12-hour shifts, 5-6 days a week, transitioning to a five-day schedule once fully staffed. The position includes day and night shifts, from 6 am to 6 pm or 6 pm to 6 am, respectively. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, South Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
