Production Supervisor**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic team in the dairy industry where we specialize in manufacturing stainless steel tanks. We are looking for a dedicated Production Supervisor with a strong strategic and tactical mindset, an understanding of KPIs, and a proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop, implement, and maintain departmental and individual goals and performance measures.
+ Align individual and team/departmental goals to support overall organizational objectives and recognize employee achievements.
+ Coordinate workload requirements and work scheduling with teams.
+ Develop, review, and maintain staffing requirements.
+ Manage annual performance evaluations, development, discipline, and terminations.
+ Interview and select new employees.
+ Coordinate activities of direct employees and provide resources to achieve team goals.
+ Identify and provide resources for employee development and training.
+ Ensure employees adhere to all work instructions and quality requirements.
+ Manage direct and indirect labor.
+ Lead strategic projects for the functional area.
+ Collaborate on continuous process improvement and cost reduction plans.
+ Support Lean Management Systems and participate in Kaizen events.
+ Drive and sustain 5S Housekeeping efforts.
**Essential Skills**
+ Excellent project management skills.
+ Solid understanding of processes, equipment, and tools used in specific areas of responsibility.
+ Strong ability to analyze and make recommendations using data.
+ Solid communication skills both written and verbal.
+ Solid negotiation and influencing skills.
+ Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement activities.
+ Ability to organize and prioritize day-to-day activities.
+ Ability to delegate effectively and meet deadlines.
+ Knowledge of lean principles and manufacturing.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Associates degree or 3 years related experience.
+ Lean training or experience desired.
+ Management/supervision experience preferred.

**Work Environment**
Work the second shift from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday, supervising a team of 30 to 35 people. Be prepared for potential overtime, night shifts, and weekend work hours. Experience a variety of environments, which may include exposure to extreme heat, humidity, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, loud noise, and all-weather conditions.

This is a Permanent position based out of Beloit, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
401k - 3% match
Holiday pay
$5 premium for 2nd shift
3-5% annual raises

At 90 days: They get a week vacation paid and a potential raise based on their review
Employees get 8 total PTO days off their first year (prorated from their start date) and paid holidays.
Ability to cross train in other departments and get pay raises
Can get certified in welding in house
Will be getting a brand new facility in 2 years:
- 6 times the size
- State of the art
- Workout facility
- Cafeteria
- Arcade
- New Service center
- New military contract for diesel and water tanks for military vehicles
Will get reimbursed for a new weld helmet once they go direct!
As we are a Hendrick company, we have great benefits, costs are lower, and only a $500 deductible for insurance. We also pay weekly.
The Tuition is $5000 per year with passing grades.
