Under the direction of the Scheduler, the Production Scheduling Associate assists in the daily operation of the department by coordinating the flow of work within or between departments of the manufacturing operations, maintain the stocking levels of the OEM SMI programs, and assisting sales with valid ship dates.

Work Type: Onsite, this position will be based onsite at our Delhi, IA facility. This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship

Shift Timings: 1st shiftMonday to Friday, 6:30 am-3:30 pm

Responsibilities:

Manage OEM SMI Programs and FGSM Replenishment: Coordinate supplier-managed inventory (SMI) programs and oversee replenishment of finished goods stock (FGSM) to ensure optimal inventory levels.

Job Order Creation: generate and process job orders in accordance with production requirements and planning schedules.

Job Cancellation Processing: execute job cancellations as necessary, ensuring proper documentation and system updates.

Inventory Maintenance: maintain accurate records for both stock and non-stock items, including updates and adjustments as needed.

Level Load Worksheet Management: regularly update and maintain the level load worksheet to support balanced production scheduling.

Sales Support via Demand Worksheet: provide accurate due dates to the sales team by utilizing data from the demand worksheet.

Rework Job Setup: create and manage job orders for rework activities, ensuring proper tracking and execution.

Raw Material Issuance for Prototypes: issue required raw materials for prototype jobs in a timely and accurate manner.

Item Setup for ECN/NPD: support item creation and updates related to Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and New Product Development (NPD) initiatives.

Kanban Card Generation: assist in the creation and maintenance of physical kanban cards to support lean manufacturing practices.

Daily Scheduling Support: provide assistance with scheduling tasks as directed by the Scheduler to ensure smooth daily operations.

Knowledge/Education:

Prior experience in production control within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

Minimum completion of APICS Basics of Supply Chain Management, or a demonstrated willingness to obtain certification

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, is required.

Must have strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to convey information clearly and effectively

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities are essential.
