Equipment Maintenance Engineer- Semiconductor Manufacturing

Round Rock, TX

Tekscend Photomask Round Rock, Inc. has an opportunity available for a skilled Equipment Maintenance Engineer located at our Round Rock, TX production facility. The Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for technical leadership and support within the Equipment Maintenance department of our factory. This role will be essential to supporting the manufacturing site through technical knowledge and leadership. The desired employee will be open to learning our inspection toolset within the photomask making process. This is a key role for our site and brings with it many opportunities for growth and development for the successful candidate.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Recommends modifications and upgrades of manufacturing equipment

Keeps current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues

Studies equipment performance and reliability

Documents and implements programs and recommends solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process

Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organization.

Supports or leads efforts of establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process

Supports or leads the definition and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules

Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules and procedures

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years engineering experience within the Semiconductor or Electronics industry

College degree in Engineering discipline or Physics required

Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), data management and analysis

Adept with PC's and common software suites (MS Office, Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

Electronic / Mechanical troubleshooting skills

Technical writing skills and strong technical acumen

Presentation skills on technical subjects

Sound technical decision-making skills

Project Management / Scheduling skills

Business and technical analysis skills

Training / Technical Guidance skills

Production-focused approach

Excellent communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills

Customer service orientation

Proficient technical process management skills

Solid knowledge of:

Mechanical / CAD design

Vacuum and RF System components

Multiple components of mask / mask materials manufacturing technology

Clean room operations

ISO 9000 standards

Quality Systems (CP, FMEA, 8D, etc.)
