Building Maintenance Worker**
**Job Description**
As a Building Maintenance Worker, you will assist with various tasks including roofing, concrete work, installing walls, sheetrock, minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, grounds maintenance, and janitorial duties as assigned. General experience in building maintenance or similar positions, along with handyman skills and equipment experience, will be beneficial.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform roofing tasks and concrete work.
+ Install walls and sheetrock.
+ Conduct minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
+ Maintain grounds and perform janitorial duties.
+ Operate equipment such as skid loaders, forklifts, hand tools, and power tools.
+ Follow directions and work directly with the building maintenance and development manager.
**Essential Skills**
+ General building maintenance experience.
+ Ability to operate skid loader, forklift, hand tools, and power tools.
+ Good read and write skills.
+ Ability to perform physical aspects of the job such as walking, climbing, and lifting.
+ Dependability and good attendance history.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 6+ months of machine operating experience.
+ Experience with drill press, punch press, and brake press.
+ 6+ months of reading a tape measure.
+ Welding experience is a plus.
**Work Environment**
The work environment is within a small, family-run manufacturing company located in Zumbrota, MN. The candidate must be comfortable working with a small team, typically 3-4 people in the cut ops department. Communication skills are essential, along with the ability to ask questions. Steel-toed boots and jeans are required attire throughout the workday.
