Seasonal employee needed to assist with the planting, spraying and harvesting of corn, soybeans, barley and canola. Employee will operate and maintain farm trucks, articulated tractors and self-propelled sprayers. Employee needs 3 months experience operating articulated tractors, variable-rate planters, 2012 and newer combines, self-propelled sprayers and mixing pesticides/chemical formulations. Employee will be required to complete all functions of cropland duties of general farm labor, which includes routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. Complete general farm duties including routine farm building maintenance and repairs. Per state regulations, employer is exempt from a commercial CDL requirement for farm trucking. No commercial trucking is required. Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employer's discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer?s discretion.

Job requires extensive sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Non-smoking work environment, housing. Employee must read and communicate in English. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing or refusal to take drug test may result in termination. Employee who commits serious acts of misconduct, refuses to follow instructions, violates work rules, fails to perform job duties in a competent manner, or other lawful job-related reasons will be terminated. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company hiring practices as allowed by law. May be required to work weekend and holidays. Require positive references from previous employers. Must be able to obtain ND drivers license.
