Job Description

We are looking for a first shift CNC Lathe operator. This individual would be responsible for operating a CNC lathe in a production environment. Set-up experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

Operate CNC lathes: This includes loading and securing materials, selecting and installing cutting tools

Read & interpret blueprints: Understanding technical drawings and specifications to determine the required dimensions and tolerances for the finished parts

Select & use appropriate tools: Choosing the correct tools, fixtures & other accessories for the specific machining task

Monitor machine operations: Observing the machining process, ensuring the machine is running smoothly, and making necessary adjustments

Inspect finished parts: Using precision measuring tools like calipers & micrometers to verify that the finished parts meet the required dimensions and tolerances

Qualifications and Requirements:

Previous CNC Lathe experience

Live tooling lathe experience is a plus

Strong blueprint reading & inspection skills

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check

The base pay range for this position is $18-20, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
