In this role, youll lead a dynamic and hardworking manufacturing team in Muscatine, Iowa , overseeing daily operations across 1st and 2nd shifts , and managing up to 90 dedicated team members . Your mission will be to deliver exceptional customer experiences by driving success in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) but just as importantly, to foster a member-first culture built on engagement, continuous growth, and shared success. - Champion daily factory operations, ensuring a safe, high-performing, and efficient environment.
- Inspire and coach your teamboth frontline leaders and hourly membersto unlock their full potential.
- Implement and sustain the Tiered Management System to drive visibility, accountability, and ownership at every level.
- Align production plans with demand forecasts and workforce strategies to optimize flow and reduce waste.
- Leverage Lean Manufacturing tools to drive smart, sustainable improvements.
- Lead change with confidence across diverse product flowscutting, milling, sewing, painting, and assemblyworking side-by-side with your team.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through 6S standards and robust incident investigation practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize and implement process improvements that move the business forward.
- Utilize performance tracking systems like ICM and QM to ensure visibility and progress against goals.
- Build a strong leadership pipeline by developing talent and fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
- Embrace servant leadershipleading from the floor, building trust, and making your team your first priority.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field preferred.
- Proven success leading in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change, motivate teams, and instill a culture of performance and pride.
- Comfort managing multiple shifts and a large hourly workforce with hands-on leadership.
- Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skillsyou know how to inspire trust and action.
- A willingness to spend time on the production floor, staying connected to your team and the work.
- A focus on performance, accountability, and building long-term operational momentum.
