Production Operator

Production Operator Job Description Join our team as a Production Operator in our foundry brake facility. You will ensure that all specifications are met by performing final inspections on brake discs after they have been processed and drilled by machines. Your role includes identifying defects such as flashes, scratches, dents, or chips and conducting spot checks using micrometers and calipers. Upon inspection approval, you will be responsible for loading and preparing the parts for delivery. Responsibilities Inspect brake discs for defects such as flashes, scratches, dents, or chips. Conduct spot checks with micrometers and calipers to ensure product specifications. Load inspected parts for delivery once approved. Ensure each box is filled and labeled correctly for pickup by a hilo driver. Maintain a production rate of inspecting and loading 25-30 parts per hour. Essential Skills 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a production or machine operator role. Demonstrated longevity in previous positions. Ability to work both 2nd and 3rd shifts. Flexibility to switch between shifts as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1+ year of experience with blueprint reading. 1+ year in the automotive industry. 1+ year of experience working 2nd or 3rd shift. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.13 - $23.13/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
