Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing, is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the Electric Ave X-Ray Tubes facility. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Location: 4855 W. Electric Avenue, West Milwaukee, WI 53219

Pay Range: $35.71/hr.

What's the Job?

  • Provide manufacturing engineering support for product quality projects, including design changes and process development.
  • Drive manufacturability focus in product design and Advanced Technology programs.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and resolve quality issues related to methods, tooling, and equipment.
  • Implement breakthrough technologies to enhance lead time, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and related tools to monitor and improve productivity while ensuring quality commitments are met.

What's Needed?

  • B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Material Science.
  • Experience in process-intensive manufacturing such as machining, brazing, welding, and measurement.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in product and process development with a solid understanding of quality management systems.
