Equipment Maintenance Tech

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Tech to join their team. As an Equipment Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting production goals. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Tech

Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD

Pay Range: $26 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform routine setup, operation, and maintenance of highly complex automated manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical repairs, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Monitor production lines and proactively evaluate equipment performance for repairs and improvements.
• Assist with root-cause analysis for process or product exceptions to enhance quality.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately to maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience in electrical, mechanical, or industrial fields.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with various teams.
• Proficient in using tools and equipment for maintenance tasks, including multimeters and precision measuring instruments.
• Flexibility to adapt to different equipment and processes as required.
