Machine Operator

Machine Operator is a general term to covers one of the following: Burn Table Operator, Python Robot Operator, Band Saw Operator, and Cobot Welding Robot Operator. These positions are for second shift which is from 4PM -- 2:30AM is responsible for the safe operation of our burn table CNC machine. This position is responsible for cutting multiple different types and sizes of materials into useable parts for the fabrication process. This position is demanding, requiring good attendance and the availability to work longer hours when the need arises. Individuals must be able to read design drawings and have a basic knowledge of computers. This position reports directly to the Parts Foreman.

Responsibilities

Read & understand prints, cut list

Verification of correct files based on prints are loaded in the computer

Verification of materials to include size and thickness

Maintaining clean work area

Understand consumables needed for the materials

Maintain clearance of machine to provide proper reading on ramp cart

Updating Tekla via tablet

Ordering gases & consumables

Held to strict due dates

Changing out saw blades as needed

Requirements

Forklift License

Read & understand prints/files

Good Attendance

Ability to be flexible on hours

Basic knowledge of CNC machine

Basic computer knowledge
