Milling Machine Operator**

**Job Description**

This position offers a structured in-house training program, equipping employees to manage the day-to-day operations of automated production CNC machine cells. Upon completion of training, you will be fluent in using all machine tooling, capable of troubleshooting tools that cut improperly, and making necessary changes to prevent tool failure. You will be responsible for setting up, running, and inspecting parts throughout your shift, while addressing common manufacturing issues.

**Responsibilities**

+ Maintain daily operations of CNC machine cells.

+ Use machine tooling fluently.

+ Troubleshoot and correct improperly cutting tools.

+ Set up, run, and inspect parts during the shift.

+ Address and resolve common manufacturing issues.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in blueprint reading.

+ Experience with CNC machining and inspection.

+ Knowledge of quality control procedures.

+ Ability to read G and M codes.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Technical and mechanical aptitude.

+ Strong computer skills.

+ Basic math and spatial reasoning abilities.

+ Effective communication and coordination with team members.

+ Self-motivation with a positive attitude and attention to detail.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of UNION, Illinois.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
